Who is Marta Forés?
I’m a Barcelona-born, Austin-based problem-solving and simplification enthusiast, wife, and mom of two.
After 15 years in Finance with big companies, I hit pause to focus on a family project that involved moving to the U.S. and ended up rethinking my entire career. Turns out, I’m really good at solving problems—financial or otherwise. From finances or career advice to managing the mental load (yep, that’s a thing), I’ve helped friends and family tackle it all. So now I’m using my finance skills to help small business owners manage their money like pros, while I’m starting my practice as a Coach so I can guide individuals and organizations to embrace their uniqueness, harness their strengths, and build the clarity and synergy needed to shape a thriving future.
Shouldn’t I focus on a single topic instead of talking a little bit about everything?
I know, sometimes I talk, teach, and/or write about totally random topics. Well, here’s the story. My grandfather was a chatty guy, something I inherited somehow. He had a day job but spent Saturday mornings at a local radio station near Barcelona, hosting a 4-hour show called Un xic de tot (catalan for A little bit of everything). He was the king of highlighters and research, always ready to drop knowledge on any topic that crossed his path. I guess that love for sharing and teaching random bits & bites runs in the family because I’m just like him, but on a different channel.
Why am I here doing this?
If I learned something in the past, it is that serving and helping others is one of the most fulfilling experiences we can do for ourselves. So, in a nutshell, I’m here to help you navigate the chaos in your business and/or life with guidance, allowing teams or individuals to find the best solutions considering who they are and their own circumstances. And if I’m lucky maybe I’ll do that with a dash of my grandpa’s radio charisma.
My Mission & Values
My mission is to bring clarity, connection, and empowerment to individuals and communities by fostering understanding, collaboration, and growth. I help people embrace their uniqueness while recognizing our shared humanity, always working to build bridges instead of burning them. Through my work—whether in writing, speaking, coaching, or creating—I aim to simplify complexity, solve problems, and inspire people to create a thriving, fair, and joyful life. I must always be constructive, uniting people with kindness, respect, and an unwavering commitment to fairness and honesty.
And I will do that being true to myself and my values of being constructive, supporting people with kindness, respect and an unwavering commitment to fairness and honesty, while not losing my result focus and practicality. And never forgetting to add a touch of fun.
